Gathered from California’s Central Valley where citrus trees grow in abundance, this honey is pale in color with an aroma of an orange tree in bloom. Sweet and seductive, it brings back memories of our youth when we sucked out the nectar of blooming citrus flowers! This has always been one of our Katz family favorites. We suggest enjoying it on morning toast, over granola or plain yogurt. Use in baking with apples and pears, or roasting winter root vegetables.
Please note: Crystallization is normal for unheated and unfiltered honey, but honey is good forever because its antibiotic properties keep it from spoiling. You can recover the fluidity of crystallized honey by placing the opened jar in a hot water bath and stirring it until it liquefies again.
